PIAC Ward Rep Nominations Now Open

Nominations for a PIAC Ward 7 Co-Representative are open now through noon on January 10, 2023.

About PIAC

The Parent Involvement Advisory Committee (PIAC) is a provincially mandated statutory committee of the TDSB that supports parents as partners in education. The committee helps parents and guardians access information and resources, to support more effective engagement in their child’s learning and to enhance the accountability of the education system.

About Ward Representatives

PIAC Ward Co-Representatives are advocates who:

  • Provide information and advice on parent engagement to the TDSB;
  • Communicate with and support school councils of schools; and
  • Undertake activities to help parents of pupils of the board support their children's learning at home and at school.

PIAC nominees, electees and electors must:

  • be current TDSB parents/guardians;
  • reside in Ward 7; and
  • have a TDSB enrolled child who resides in ward 7, or have a child enrolled in a TDSB school in ward 7

Complete the Nomination Form to express interest in becoming our ward co-representative, alongside Alice Romo.

Complete the Voter Registration form to participate in the election of our rep (if needed)

January 12, 2023: Nominee Bios Posted

January 17, 2023 Election (if needed)

January 18, 2023 Announcement of New Representative
